Pool — Ultra Thunder review
Pool is one of the more unusual slots in Ultra Thunder: a billiards-themed reel game built around the look of the table — numbered balls, cues and green felt. It's clean, uncomplicated, and a nice change from the fantasy themes that fill most slot menus.
What is Pool?
Pool is a multi-reel slot that borrows the imagery of the billiards hall. Instead of dragons or fruit, the reels are dressed in pool balls, cues and table felt. Under the theme it plays like a straightforward slot — the look is the twist, not the mechanics.
How Pool plays
Set your bet, spin the paylines and match symbols. It keeps things simple and readable, with a bonus or free-spin trigger to give sessions the occasional lift. There's no steep learning curve, which makes it an easy slot to pick up and enjoy casually.
- Distinctive theme: billiards art that stands out in the menu.
- Clean mechanics: a simple spin-the-paylines slot underneath.
- Bonus trigger for the bigger moments.
Why players like it
The billiards theme gives it a sharp, grown-up look that's different from everything around it, and the simple mechanics make it a relaxing table to spin. It's a good palate-cleanser between heavier, feature-packed games.
Tips for playing Pool
- Keep bets low and enjoy it for what it is — relaxed, uncomplicated spinning.
- It's a simple slot, so it's an easy one to practise budget discipline on.
- Set your limit first and treat it as entertainment.

Our verdict
A clean, characterful slot with a theme of its own. Not the biggest feature set in the app, but one of the more distinctive to look at.

Frequently asked questions
Is Pool a table game or a slot?
It's a slot with a billiards theme — the pool-hall art is the styling, but it plays like a spin-the-reels slot. If you want an actual table game, see 21 Blackjack.
